Getting to Russia
The best time to visit is, perhaps, May - September. During the summer season there are many things happening in both cities: carnivals, exhibitions, concerts, and other special events. At the end of June St. Petersburg and cities in the west-northern part of Russia become a really special place: there’s daylight all day long. This period is called “White Nights” and is definitely worth seeing. Autumn is one of the beautiful periods in Russia: yellowish and red trees, sunny weather, cool winds and the mood of change. People want to have as much fun as possible outside, before the colds start.
