Tour description

During the tour you will have a splendid opportunity to get in touch with rich cultural backing and historical attitudes of the country and tap into the deeps of Russian soul. The two most valuable and famous eye catchers will make a good start and end of your trip – these are the Gold-Domed Moscow and the Northern Capital – St. Petersburg . Your acquaintance with Moscow will be wisely guided from the Red Square and Kremlin, you will step down to bunker of Stalin, the Soviet leader-repressor, you will visit the Tourist Space Training Center and will attend a show in a famous motor club. Upon the whole you will get to know with different periods in the history of Russia – from Tsar times, then through the Soviet epoch and forward on till nowadays Russia. As soon as we get out of the Capital you will face the real suburbia countryside that tracks its history from the ancient times. Here and there we find cathedrals, operating monasteries, Kremlin ensembles, worships of the ancient Russia, antique mansions, of Russian knights and earls. You will participate in traditional Russian amusements and open air celebrations, you will try the Russian Banya and test the real shashlik and pies from the oven! Visit to Velikiy Novgorod , one of the acient Russian town, where you could touch the history walking around Kremlin and wooden village Vitoslavlitsi. Here, in Velikiy Novgorod you will sail along the beautiful lake Ilmen and have dinner in one of it's island.
By the end of the trip you will be met by St. Petersburg – European city of Piter the Great. That city keeps enormous collections of art valuables. St. Petersburg is that very place where the Soviet epoch was started – you will get a chance to step aboard of Avrora cruiser – the history of the whole country was turned up side down with its gun shot. You will splendid parks and palaces of the city and its umbrella surroundings – The Hermitage, Petrodvorets, Pushkin and others.

Tour route

Day 1. Moscow

Arrival to Moscow. Transfer to the hotel. time for Leisure.

Day 2. Moscow

Visit Kremlin. Lunch in typical Russian restaurant. City tour. Motorcycles getting. Paper formalities. Moscow by night (by bike) dinner in Motorcyclist club Sexton.

Day 3. Moscow – Arkhangelsoe Estate – New Jerusalem – Istra, appx.120 km

Departure from Moscow to the west, first place you visit is the Museum of old-timer cars, where you could see the excellent private collection of reconstructed cars, motorcycles and other vehicles. After that we do a short walk around Arhkangelskoe Estate – the Palace of Earl Yusupov and ride to old Monastery – New Jerusalem. Evening you could spend on the bank of Istra pond – swimming and relaxing.

Day 4. Istra – Polenovo estate – Kolomna, appx. 340 km

Ride to the south-east. First, we visit ostrich farm and bison nursery, after that you enjoy the typical Russian cuisine in Polenovo Estate – home of famous Russian artist Vassiliy Polenov. Riding day you finish in Kolomna, where we visit the Kremlin and show of ancient warriors.

Day 5. Kolomna – Sergiev Posad – Pereslavl Zalesskiy, appx 280 km

Early in the morning we ride to the State Cosmos Training Center – so called “Star town” (Zvezdniy gorodok) and have a tour around the Cosmos Museum and training center. Or, in case we couldn't get there because of some reason, we will visit the biggest Russian Avia museum. After that we ride to the so-called Golden Ring towns – Sergiev Posad and Pereslavl Zalesskiy.

6. Pereslavl Zalesskiy – Tver, appx 250 km

Riding to old Russian town Tver you cross many villages and towns. You have dinner in very special and interesting place!

7. Tver – Valday - Velikiy Novgorod, appx 360 km

From Tver we ride to Valday – a favorite place of Russian Government since Soviet period, now our President has a residence there. Entering Velikiy Novgorod first we visit a wooden village Vitoslavlitsi where we have a short tour, then after hotel accommodation we have a walking tour around Novgorod Kremlin.

8. Velikiy Novgorod – St Petersburg, appx 260 km

Today we ride to the last, but not least place of our tour – St. Peterburg. We arrive approximately in lunch time. On our way we visit a wonderful Tsar Palace – Petrodvorets – unique architecture creation with complex system of fountains.

9. St Petersburg

City tour, visit to Peter and Paul Fortress, Aurora battle cruiser, museum of curiosities and other interesting places of the city. In the afternoon time for leisure. In the evening farewell dinner in the river boat.For riders who depart from Moscow transfer to the rail station or airport (ticket is included in the price).

Penalty

Cancellations received less than 120 days prior to departure will be subject to the following forfeit of tour cost; 120 - 90 days, 50%; 90-31 days - 80% of the tour cost; within 30 days - 100%of the tour cost. No exception to this policy can be made for any reason. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
